@EmperorHaterz the new style grill ain't the best on the bm but that won't last for long just like the old 5 Series v10 lights you always get some ups and downs but with bm there mostly up and stand the test of time where as lexus looks dated before its even available to the public

The design for this particular car is going to go well with age, your telling me that poorly designed front-end on the new M cars is better than this? They are not even the best looking German car in its class.

@war2death and yet people didnt buy them when they were around at the time they were sold here in America to the point to where it get yanked out of the market 4 years before they ended production for them and the aftermarket mainly shaping the supra to what it is now. Wouldn't be any different from the current mk5 if toyo made it themselves since toyo said it'd be 2x more expensive than it is now with the same stats knowing it wouldn't sell if they tried something like that and knowing that people will just buy it second hand/depreciation after a few years just like they do with lexus since they're so expensive also. Same happened to the mk4,as soon as those dropped in price thats when the aftermarket boomed for them. The mk5 doesn't need to be anything like the mk4 anyway since they already found their way into the comp drift world in FD,D1GP,and Russian drift series,they've become apparent in the track world with a guy winning podium wins with his mk5 and other tracking there's also,and they are heavily popping up more and more in the drag world to were they're already in the 8s and the later tx2k will have a bunch of them racing there. They didn't need to be anything like they're past gens to get were they are now.

the Supra was most anticipated to be the most sold Supra out any previous Supra out there, and years without a sporty car after the Supra stopped production in 2002. The anticipation and rumors the hype Even the movies made the Supra a legendary hard to get car and when you hear it has a bmw engine people’s hard on for the new car went like Erectile disfunction when it released in 2019 nobody cares it will never stack up it will never be as legendary as the mk4 still don’t think it’s as good as the mk3 it’s just another colab that failed to spark interest

@war2death hows it not proper exactly? Their doing fairly well with what people have been doing with them lately. Plus its not a mass produced car anyway especially the fact that they're being made in small number as is and them only being out for just a year now and are well near close to passing the 10k mark. If it's sales were a issue we'd be saying the same for the RC and LC's sales that have been dropping since that aren't any better or worse than the number of mk5s being sold rn, and those have been out years longer than the mk5 also.

@Carboy Dorifuto party my issue is bmw engines have a problem with repairability and cost of repair, Toyota make engines more reliable more repairable and so over engineered it can handle more horses more boost more power. Than bmw has ever even thought of. The bmw Supra is not a proper successor to the Toyota Supra this is also why sales of the bmw supra tanked not even 10k Supra’s have been sold since it’s been released

They're only doing that with the supra. Don't see the issue with that anyway when it's both way more tunable and the fastest toyo in the line up currently.

The base models already start in the 40s so this'll likely be 55-60k

They can charge less by branding it as the IS500. Also if this is ONLY the IS500 then that means they could come out with a bonkers IS-F.
