Sorry guys I commented before reading the comments dude was talking about a tire on wheel swap thats not that big a deal on a freightliner or peterbuilt even your 4500 series trucks its not that big a deal i think you call it a double lipped bead but on big rigs tire gets real low. Not flat it just comes of the bead they operate at 100-115 psi Ive seen and I been driving a lazer spot all over a big scrap yard all day when I wasnt in a material handler or my f150 picking up junk cars with a wench trailer

What he said about the sealant and pump is very common these days. Less and less cars have spare wheels these days to reduce weight for emissions targets. If you're lucky there may be a space saver wheel but that is becoming rarer.

I think the guy who had the phd meant changing the tire around the rim as there are special expensive tools needed to put a new tire on. When he was referring to something else I think he was explaining changing the wheel or using fix a flat

Here's the best car advice I could ever give anyone: maybe every second time you fill your car up at the servo, check the tyres, check the oil, check the coolant, and fill the washer bottle and give the wipers a wipe with wet paper towel or cloth. The wiper thing is just to help it last longer, but the oil, coolant, and tyres are the most important things. Doing these three things eliminates probably 90% of breakdowns straight away.

Dude, you guys need to get into shape. Guy on the right looks like he could look like Chris Pratt if he got the big mole removed and worked out. The guy on the left has great eyes but also just needs to lose some body fat % and remove that moustache. Hell, both of you just need to shave. See I dunno about that "don't negotiatie" because when I bought my Fiesta I needed the car that day to be able to keep going to work and so I made no haggling attempts. I showed up with a pre-approved loan from my bank for what they advertised the car at and instead of accepting that the dealership spent 5-6 hours making me sit there waiting angrily before presenting me with a ford credit agreement for 5 grand more than my loan which by then having to work the next day with the car I had been driving now inoperable, without enough time to hunt down another fiesta I signed their papers so not negotiating didn't do me a lick of good. The salesman also stayed well away from me while they were "calculating" my loan stuff. When I needed a bigger car I went to the same dealer and told them what I could afford per month and they offered me a Focus for $145 more per month than I told them I was capable of paying at the time. That made plenty of acrimony between me and my Ford dealership.

The deeper lesson here? If you can spend a reasonable amount of time and already have a reasonable amount of knowledge on the subject, than for the love of God yes go for it. Just a quick 30 minute or hour internet search can and will save you hundreds and/or thousands. But if you got to spend days or weeks on Google, CSsun, Diagrams, Blueprints, Charts, asking your EX's, mom's, boyfriend's, husband's pet monkey-cat that's missing an eye and got half a testicile how to fix something...then just let someone else fix the damn thing!

Strength? What does strength have to do with changing a tire? I have wimpy noodle arms and I've successfully used tire machines plenty of times, the machine does most of the work for you. And swapping wheels isn't too difficult either, anyone can learn how.

To do a burnout in an automatic: First put the car in reverse and get the car moving about 15mph or so backwards, then (while still traveling backwards) slam the car into drive and floor it. Much more effective than just going from neutral to drive.
